The main advantage of Adarate products is that they all are very fast, with unique AD/DA performance. Currently the company offers two main product lines:
Transceivers (HRFT)
Three existing transceiver cards are available for purchase: iHRFT– one channel solution, dHRFT–dual channel solution, qHRFT– quad channel solution and Additional HRFT versions are under development.
The basic idea is to provide maximum performance combined with modularity – the result is HRFT – the Highspeed Radio Frequency Transceiver platform. All existing HRFT versions features dual Gigasample Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs) and Digital to Analog Converters (DACs) tightly coupled to a Virtex-6 FPGA. The boards can stream on one, two or four channels of RF-data (baseband) with sampling frequencies up to 6 Gsps (recording) and up to 8 Gsps (transmitting). The analog input bandwith is up to 3 GHz, which makes it suitable for subsampling applications.
Data storage systems (Logger)
Within a joint venture project, we have integrated our HRFT with a high performing disk storage system. When recording, you can stream many GBytes/s of data to disk via DMA over PCIe. The logger is typically equipped with removable internal or external portable hard drive or SSD packs with fairly large storage capacity.
